Banknote of 2024 Nominations

The first three nominations for the Banknote of 2024 are: Kazakhstan: 5,000-Tenge Note, Honduras: 500-Lempira Note, England: 5-Pound Note.

 

Arthur C "Art" Matz (2014)

Charter Member of IBNS #0022-C, Art is nominated for his long work in running the Latin America Paper Money Society (LANSA), founded in 1973.

He supported LANSA all through its existence and 40 years later is still the US point of contact and is active as its president. Art was active in creating early lists of Latin America paper money and a significant contributor to the IBNS Library. He has been a model to others by supporting research and promoting paper money as a hobby and has generated his own legion of admirers.
