Banknote of 2024 Nominations

The first three nominations for the Banknote of 2024 are: Kazakhstan: 5,000-Tenge Note, Honduras: 500-Lempira Note, England: 5-Pound Note.

 

Peter Symes (2012)

Peter Symes has been a prolific contributor to the Journal for 10 years, in addition to editing the Journal between 2008 and 2010 and being IBNS President twice between 2005 to 2012. He is recognized for his pioneering research in Islamic bank notes and his role in numerous IBNS activities such as the Board of Directors and well as the IBNS Journal. As a researcher and collector of paper money, he is a beacon of light for newcomers.
