Dear Members,
It is with great pleasure to announce our new project. Two of our IBNS members - Nicolas Gogotsis (11545-R) & Cosmin Paltinescu (11671-R) - have created an online database called BanknoteDB.com, which was based off the initial Microsoft access file, but with loads of new features! It is a collaborative project where people can contribute and add notes to the database and manage their collections online. Our database is growing each day as new notes are added and new information is added to existing notes.
You can now manage your collection online with options like:
It is our opinion that this is the most complete online database. Each note is verified by one of our contributors to ensure that data entered in the database is accurate.
Database Statistics
Here is a quick preview of what a banknote data looks like

Adding the UV pictures has allowed us to notice that there are some new variants, which have never been identified before, so it is interesting to see how this will grow over time.
New Features!
We are happy to share with you all that our feature list has grown considerably in the past year.
In case you have not noticed here are a few highlights!
More Filters!
We received a lot of feedback from members wanting more filters, and we delivered! If you click on the filter icon you can now filter by Banknote type (Issued note, Specimen, etc.), by feature (UV picture, Watermark picture, etc), and by Substrate.

Groupings!
We added the option for you to group all the entries by either Pick number or TBB number, this can make it easier for some to find their notes.

More Fields!
We added more fields to the database, such as the Withdrawn Date of a note and a Demonetized Date of a note. We added Swap Values and if you are missing a field, email us! We will add it for you so that you can store the most precise data for your collection in the database.
Country Map in your Dashboard!
We also added a new map that shows you how many banknotes you have per country on a cool map! If you click on the dashboard icon you will be directed to the page where this wonderful map is visible.

Features are being added each week so please be sure to check on a regular basis.
If you have any questions and we will be more than happy to answer your questions, please contact us at admin@banknotedb.com
